This beautiful painting is set in a large ornate heavy frame and has been in our family for a few generations. It was inherited from Ed Fenn, one of the founders of Beverly Hills and the painting appears to have been done by "M Fisher". Mr. Fenn had a connection to the Waggoners, a wealthy milling family from Independence, Missouri. One can still see their mansion at the historically preserved site "The Wagonner-Gates Estate". A Sonoma Valley art gallery historian felt that this was painted by one of the sons of the famous Fisher Brothers in Detroit who owned the company "Body by Fisher" but we have not been able to confirm this with certainty.
